Winter of 2025 wreaked havoc on many rural communities in McDowell Co, West Virginia, so Flint City Climbing is partnering with Reclamation Church, in Welch, WV to walk alongside their community in practical ways—helping replace essential appliances, support the repair of parks and ballfields, or assist with rebuilding costs now that weather is warming up. This is a long walk, and they're learning as they go, seeking to love well and serve faithfully knowing many families didn’t have flood insurance.

Flint City Climbing has a close climber-friend who moved to West Virginia as a missionary to a broken group of people.  As a climbing community, when one hurts, we all hurt and she has brought to our attention how great a need her county and mission is in.  Will you come hang out with us May 3rd at 1828 W. Dawson Rd, Milford, MI 48380?  We want to provide a place for climbers to unite to meet the larger climbing community, hang out, eat around a bon fire, and play on a local climbing wall designed for beginners and intermediate climbers; and most of all pool together some cash to send financial aid to a county that needs our help.

We will be raffling off gear and outdoor products, offering  a few clinics for those interested in learning how to build and clean anchors by an AMGA certified instructor, and hosting a fun bouldering comp purely for the bragging rights.  Sign up below to help us get a count of how many people are attending--bring your climber and non-climber friends alike, kids, family, but please leave your pets at home; seriously NO pets allowed at this one!

Please Register in ONE of the categories below by APRIL 30th   (even as a general attendee)
